52 Week Fiber Arts Challenge starts January 1st!

Join us for a 52 Week Fiber Arts Project Challenge. The challenge starts on January 1st and runs through December 31st.

The rules are simple: complete 52 fiber arts projects (knit/crochet/weaving) in 2016--1 project per week-- and be entered to win a prize pack!

Keep track of your projects using your Ravelry account (accounts are free), entering project info and photos of completed projects. Those competing should send their Ravelry user name to the following email: intheloophartselle@gmail.com

It's time for the holidays!

With the 1st Annual North Alabama Yarn Crawl in our wake, it's time for the holiday season to begin! New yarn arrives next week from Universal and we're looking forward to seeing the Downton Abbey yarn that we've ordered! We also have new hand dyed/ hand spun yarn (spun in-store) available!

Drop Spindle Workshop with Claire Cabe of Lucca Dot Yarn, Saturday, October 10th

Come knit the 'Verdant' shrug with up on September 29th from 6-8pm

We'll be knitting Gina Bonomo's 'Verdant' shrug on Tuesday, September 29th from 6-8 pm. Class is $20/person (plus supplies, or bring your own). Register in-store.

Our new location!!

After two furious days of moving, we're in our new shop. We open for business this Tuesday, and I'm hoping the better parking and shop visibility will make it easier for customers to find us. 

We're Moving!!!

After tomorrow, we'll be at our new location: 1210 Hwy 31 NW, suite G in Hartselle, AL! Painting starts tonight and we'll start moving on Saturday after the store closes early at 2pm. Our new location is bigger and more accessible to our customers (with PLENTY of parking)! Come check out the new shop when we open on Tuesday at 11am!

A Night of Dyeing

Last night I decided to try out my new Jacquard Acid Fast dyes on Corriedale Cross roving and hand spun BFL and merino yarns. I'm really excited about the results, and I can't wait to dye more in the coming weeks.
