2-ply spinning with Masham wool

I spun up the Ashland Bay Fine Grey Masham wool roving I recently bought, and totally loved it. It was easy to spin and super soft. The wool is similar to that of English Longwool breeds, as the Masham is a cross bred sheep (Teeswater ram or similar Wensleydale, to either a Dalesbred or Swaledale ewe).

Easy hemp kitchen scrubbers made with DGY 100% Hemp

Easy Kitchen Hemp Scrubbers

Pattern by 'In the Loop Yarn Shop'

Materials needed:

100% hemp (Darn Good Yarn)

Size H crochet hook (5 mm)

1. Chain 2, 6 sc in 2nd chain from hook, join to 1st sc with sl st

2. Ch 1, sc in same space, 2sc in each sc around, join with sl st

3. Ch 1, sc in same space, *sc, ch 1* repeat from * to * in every sc around, join with sl st

4. Ch 6 (for loop), sl st in same space, sl st in next sc. Finish off, weaving in ends.
