I spun up the Ashland Bay Fine Grey Masham wool roving I recently bought, and totally loved it. It was easy to spin and super soft. The wool is similar to that of English Longwool breeds, as the Masham is a cross bred sheep (Teeswater ram or similar Wensleydale, to either a Dalesbred or Swaledale ewe).
